Dave, we think you are a great and wonderful husband! You have given you wife the gift of Jimmy Choo (and maybe earned yourself bronwie points for life)! We love that your wife circled what she wanted in Grazia - great tip for the future!! Great story Dave, thanks!

I was first in the queue at Brighton - my wife was going to go, but I told her not to as she is heavily pregnant, and probably queuing in the street all night is not the best thing for her, so I went alone.

Problem was that a) I don't live in Brighton, and b) I don't drive. Therefore I had to get the train, which got me to H&M Brighton on the stroke of midnight. I then sat alone (and cold) until 4am, when the second and third people in the queue turned up almost at the same time (and I was very grateful for the company by this point). Thereafter, the queue gradually grew...

It didn't even get remotely busy until 6am, but having been there since midnight, I could no longer feel my feet by about 5am.

At about 8.30, the staff came out and issued the wristbands, and after that it was fairly easy to get what my wife had asked for (she'd circled the relevant pieces in grazia for me!). It was very crowded in the store itself and having been into the VIP section in the first cohort, it was then quite difficult to get out.

In the end though, I got exactly what my wife wanted, and she was very happy with it. I went completely without sleep on Friday, and still feel rubbish now (Monday), but I guess it was worth it.

I queued for the Newcastle store I arrived at 6.15 am not knowing whether I would be early enough or not - desparate for a pair of gladiators nearly all of the bracelets and any of the bags I could get my hands on. At a freezing 7.45 the lady came out with our wristbands YAY I had made the first 160 my timeslot was ........ 10.35 ouch I was a teeny bit dissapointed thinking there wouldnt be much left. I didnt queue for the store opening at 9 not really wanting any of the clothes I went back at ten past nine and they had all gone. Long Story short I got my gladiators they are Gorgeous they didnt have the zebra heels or zebra pumps in my size and none of the 4 bags I wanted were left either but I got 3 bracelets that I wanted!!! I think the queue system worked great although not sure the stock levels were right I wonder if next time people should have to register their size and stuff and have ID and they are only allowed that size and one of each style there were a group of lads in front of us by quite a way and they were only there for ebay - bet they got the zebra shoes and bags and have them listed at like £120. - All in all though I got my shoes and my bracelets and went back home to bed!!!
