One of the most popular and beautiful actors of the 1950s, Grace Kelly was a true syle icon. Starting from April 17th 2010, at the V&A you can get an insider’s view of her wonderful wardrobe.
The collection inlcudes many dresses from her films as well as the gown she wore to collect her oscar in 1955. The collection moves on, showing us how her style evolved and changed during her time as Princess of Monaco.
Running alongside the exhibition are a fashion study day, a short course on 50s haute couture and a practical workshop making Grace Kelly hats and scarves. Follow the links for more details. The V&A are also running a fabulous competition to win a night at legendary, London hotel, the Connaught – see our competition page for more details.
