We loved Urbanspark so much – a site full of gorgeous, sparkly, spiky trinkets and beautiful accessories – that we had to contact designer Niki Strange to find out more. Are you sitting comfortably – this is what she told us…..

First visit urbanspark.co.uk as you’re welcomed with dinosaurs, guinea pigs and naked bottoms on the homepage – to an online accessories boudoir, Wonderland bursting with juicy treasures as you browse through the six collections of the Jules range.

The vintage inspired Antique Mirror accessories encompasses elegant frames, pearls and diamantes embellished with ribbon, gold, silver and bronze, with cheeky starfish. Etchant is the elegantly edgy range of spiky star-like delicate jewellery in black and silver. Lamina, is a femininely luxurious range that could have been handpicked from the secret jewellery box of a mythical Princess, but a very naughty Princess.

Aquatic inspiration has been drawn from the waters around Portsmouth (old sailors town) in designs that stand testament to the sea. The scarves boast a boldly printed fish sketch in red, blue and black. (Perfect for blustery days on Southsea seafront eating candy floss.) The Coral range uses the greens, blues and indigos of a sleepy sunset, and the Starfish range sparkles with Czech stone gems and silver; Suitable for any Siren to wear when luring helpless sailors to rocky waters.
