The name Terry de Havilland may not be as well known as Manolo Blahnik but he has been making shoes since the 1950′s his fine footwear can be seen adorning the feet off celebrities like Angelina Jolie and Amy Winehouse.

He has just opened up a couture shoe service where you can walk in, discuss what you want and get them made to order.

Net-a-Porter and Stella McCartney have launched an exclusive fashion range which comprises of a 23-piece collection includes shoes, handbags and T-shirts starting from £145.

It also includes a children’s sundress, marking the first time the designer has offered clothes for children. It is the first capsule collection designed exclusively for Net-a-Porter.

“We are thrilled to have worked with Stella to produce a one-of-a-kind online media shopping event. With this collaboration we are taking the concept of the fashion show and recreating it as a 21st century fashion entertainment vehicle for the consumer, where the shopping is part of the show.” Founder Natalie Massenet

UK clothing chain oasis have relaunched their website with a fresh new look. A lot of the design is based on customer feedback, with ‘one click’ customers can add purchases to their baskets.

It features a Fashion Journal blog  (now that sounds like a good idea :) ) which will provide customers with lifestyle information, including news from the world of fashion and travel.

Oxfam Open Designer Boutique…

Oxfam have just opened up an upscale shop of in the Westbourne Grove area of London. The shop offers mostly secondhand designer clothing.

The clothes will retail for a significantly higher price than traditional Oxfam store pieces. Jane Shepherdson, formerly of Topshop, is heading up the creative direction of the new boutique.

“These sophisticated stores are taking sustainable fashion to a new level,” says Shepherdson.

“Outstanding Fair Trade pieces sit alongside original reworked fashion and accessories: it’s a stylists dream, unique and original. There are very few places you can browse such a wide variety of desirable, yet sustainable, fashion.”

Looks like one of the most popular men’s shoes of the early 1960s, the Chelsea boot is set to make its way back to the streets but now, they are available for women as well!

“Chelsea boots were considered an element of the 1960s mod scene, their popularity is often attributed in part to musicians such as The Beatles (who wore what became known as Beatle boots) and The Rolling Stones, who primarily wore Chelsea-style boots with Cuban heels.
