Today’s homage to our favourite girl in Maryjanes and an Alice band comes from House of Fraser. As you can see this store is obviously supporting TeamQueenofhearts when it comes to their Alice collection. Red is the colour of choice and this Moschino scarf will give you instant Wonderland appeal when worn with any basic outfi! The Disney couture jewellery is just so cute and sure to get people asking you where you got it. The KG shoes will give that sweet cariacature feel when worn with a little lace dress or even with jeans teamed with this heart cardi. There’s much more to see - follow the white rabbit – no sorry the link above, to see lots of curiouser and curiouser delights!

Alexandra Wood-Ives of Kalaidescope writes exclusively for TFG (oh yes) about workwear trends this coming spring…
It’s easy to get into the same boring old work-wear groove: you fall out of bed, shower and sling on the same old trouser suit without even thinking about it.
If you save your best outfits and favourite looks for evenings and weekends, you’re not alone. So many of us do, not least because we do stick to the same old boring work clothes all of the time. It can be difficult to find clothes which do the double: make you look fantastic and professional at the same time.
The good news is that there are a few key trends for Spring which you can easily incorporate into your work wardrobe. Women of the world of work, it’s time for a serious revamp!
Colour-wise, flesh and putty tones are big news this season. Think pink but not quite. These colours are great for work because their muted hue says ‘professional’ as well as ‘feminine’. For a really on-trend look, mix these colours with black. Try a black skirt with a flesh blouse and two-tone kitten heels.
Dresses have always been a key work-wear staple – they’re so easy to wear and usually give more than a hint of smart glamour. Update your dresses by teaming them with boots for spring. We don’t mean your knee-highs – it’s time to discover the trendy world of ankle and shoe boots. We love these Heine Ankle Boots (pictured). With their pointed toe and slim heel, they combine fashion with formality – perfect for the office. Great news for working feet – the mid-heel is the height to strut around in this season. Giving you lift and femininity without sacrificing comfort, it’s the perfect choice for work. Try mid-heel boots or shoes with city shorts, which are also making a return this year.
Shift dresses are going to be all-the-rage for the Spring 2010 work-wear wardrobe. There’s no need to blend into the background in a plain grey frock, however: choose something with a splash of colour, like this striking Sateen Print Dress, and accentuate it with some well-placed accessories to stand out from the crowd

As you know we are falling for the Alice trend, even though we haven’t seen the film yet (this weekend we think)!! Anyway these next few days we’re looking around the sites to bring you products that will melt your (queen of) hearts and make you grin like a cheshire cat ( too far, we’ll stop). Today Asos have the cutest selection of Alice jewellery plus a whole host of flouncy, ever so proper, Alicious (you saw this word here first) clothing. The link takes you straight to the Alice section of the site, which also includes an extract from an interview with Colleen Atwood (8 time Oscar Nominee 2 time Oscar Winner) who designed the costumes for Tim’s new film.
