The Yellow Trend – We love Emma Watson at People Tree Daisy Chain Vest

Category : Celebrity, Spring, Summer, Trends, Women

Remember the other day, we talked about the trend for all things clean and yellow and lovely as daisies. Then we just happened upon this sweet, little vest designed by Emma Watson for People Tree. It’s available in yellow, white or grey and has a pretty, daisy chain border at the neckline. Team with jeans and a white blazer, it’s great way to ease yourself gently into the trend.  Oh and cos it’s from People Tree it’s organi can fairtrade too, which makes it even lovelier!

Try Truffleshuffle for a tee like the girls

Candy Couture at Repbulic are loving America…

We love Urban Outfitters, for those of us who can’t make up our minds they’ve printed us these selection tees – in fact we love the I love cities tee, it’s catwalk inspired and sure to be a hit. For those who really can’t make up their mind, we’ve popped in the striped heart tee, just so everyone knows you do love, but you’ve not decided (or you’re not telling….)

Top Shop say it in words and pictures

And just to give all British cities a bit of a boost here’s Emma Watson’s Union Jack design from People tree

Great things to do in April No.4 – Visit the Grace Kelly Fashion Exhibition At the V&A From April 17th

Category : Celebrity, Competitions, History, Spring

One of the most popular and beautiful actors of the 1950s, Grace Kelly was a true syle icon. Starting from April 17th 2010, at the V&A you can get an insider’s view of her wonderful wardrobe.

The collection inlcudes many dresses from her films as well as the gown she wore to collect her oscar in 1955. The collection moves on, showing us how her style evolved and changed during her time as Princess of Monaco.

Running alongside the exhibition are a fashion study day, a short course on 50s haute couture and a practical workshop making Grace Kelly hats and scarves.  Follow the links for more details. The V&A are also running a fabulous competition to win a night at legendary, London hotel, the Connaught – see our competition page for more details.

A Day at the Races (part 2) with Coast in Florals and Brights

Category : Accessories, Spring, Summer, Trends, Women

Colleen Rooney and annual style award winner, Sophie Farclough, looked stunning at Aintree this weekend. But we can do just as well, if not better with the gorgeous looks we’ve put together from Coast.

At the last meet we put our money on monochromes and neutrals (sorry we can’t stop with the racing terminology). Today we’re betting on (see),  florals and brights, inlcuding this bold, tropical print. We’ve stayed bright with the lotus blossom fascinator, then,  we’ve toned the whole look down with these white or silvery accessories.

And at the final furlong (sorry about this),  we’ve taken bright jewel coloured dresses, given them a same colour cover up and then pulled the look together by matching the hat and bag to the dark coloured waist band. Click each image for more product details.
