Meanwhile, over at the otherside of the pond, more gorgeous models (including many of the Pirelli Calendar girls) were stripping down to their undies for the (as always) glam and elaborate Victoria’s Secret fashion show in New York.
The Angels, had five new recruits, including 22 year old model from Devon, Rosie Huntington-Whitely, who stunned crowds in a sparkling blue corset. Heidi Klum, despite making just one appearance, became the star of the show. She looked amazing in a purple corset and tulle half gown, just 5 weeks after giving birth to her 4th baby!!
Other highlights included Marissa Miller wearing a diamond encrusted bra worth millions of dollars and Miranda Kerr in a tiny and cheeky, black thong ensemble that caused quite a stir!! Visit Victoria’s Secret to see their latest collections.

The Fashion Guide reader Rachel, queued, shopped and conquered in Newcastle today, in the hunt for Jimmy Choo for H&M gladiators. In homage to her bravery and to the great comment she sent us, we felt her story should be told..
I queued for the Newcastle store I arrived at 6.15 am not knowing whether I would be early enough or not – desparate for a pair of gladiators nearly all of the bracelets and any of the bags I could get my hands on. At a freezing 7.45 the lady came out with our wristbands YAY I had made the first 160 my timeslot was …….. 10.35 ouch I was a teeny bit dissapointed thinking there wouldnt be much left. I didnt queue for the store opening at 9 not really wanting any of the clothes I went back at ten past nine and they had all gone. Long Story short I got my gladiators they are Gorgeous they didnt have the zebra heels or zebra pumps in my size and none of the 4 bags I wanted were left either but I got 3 bracelets that I wanted!!! I think the queue system worked great although not sure the stock levels were right I wonder if next time people should have to register their size and stuff and have ID and they are only allowed that size and one of each style there were a group of lads in front of us by quite a way and they were only there for ebay – bet they got the zebra shoes and bags and have them listed at like £120. – All in all though I got my shoes and my bracelets and went back home to bed!!!
Well done Rachel, wear those gladiators with pride!
