New Look is set to launch a weekly online interactive TV show which will be distributed by You Tube it is planned to go live on the 18th of September with plans to allows viewers to upload their own content, comment and vote on features and visit New Look stores where filming will take place.

The show is executive produced by Hannah Springham, who has directed numerous fashion TV productions including Gok’s Fashion Fix, Britain’s Next Top Model and The Clothes Show.

Zugara have just beta launched a new application – The Webcam Social Shopper. It brings together the functionality of both Augmented Reality and Motion Capture, basically anyone with a webcam can shop online right from within their own video feed.

We like to think of it as “Augmented Reality meets Utility”.

This app allows you to seemingly hold articles of clothing up in front of yourself to see “how they look”. And the Motion Capture allows the app to track your movements so you can interact with the site (e.g. cycle through a product’s various colors/styles or take a picture of yourself so you can get immediate feedback from friends on Facebook) while standing several feet away from your computer’s controls. No extra downloads, no new plug-in, no consumer headache.
