Rosie Huntington Whiteley is New Face of Burberry A/W 2010 But We love Emma Watson’s New Hair

Category : Autumn, Celebrity, Trends, Video

Victoria’s secret model Rosie Huntington Whiteley puts her perfect pout to good use, as she joins a cast of equally gorgeous and sculptured people for the latest  Burberry ad campaign – by the way, this is also the first ever,  interactive ad campaign so go through to the site and start moving things around (As you see, today’s Blogger is not one of the technical staff).  The full cast includes Rosie Huntington Whiteley, Nina Porter, Sam Rollinson, Charlotte Wiggins, Caspar Smyth, Douglas Booth, Gwilym Gold, Rory Cottam, Samuel Fry, Seb Brice and Thomas Penfound.

She may be out of the ad campaign, but Emma Watson is still headlining this week with a fabulous, pixie crop, framing her pretty face.

The Aviator jackets and military looks are out in full force  at Burberry Prorsum (if ever we needed proof that the Aviator is this season’s trench coat),  and here’s the catwalk video to get the full feel. Great tunes too!!

French Connection Launch Autumn/Winter Collection 2010 for The Woman & The Man

Category : Autumn, Men, Trends, Winter, Women

French Connection Limited French Connection Limited

French Connection continue The Man & The Woman campaigns for Autumn 2010, with the very pretty woman and the very rugged (not to mention bearded) man. The collections are beautifully cut and coordinated.  As you flick through the online magazines (For Man, For Woman), you imagine the cosy, warm feeling you’d get as you wear each piece on chilly days and the glamourous feeling of black and sparkles on dark, cold, nights.  It makes you feel that winter, will not be that bad after all – that’s why mother nature invented new season collections :)

Heres the copy straight from FC -

This is the woman, she is embracing the winter months. The woman takes inspiration from birds – feathers, wings and nice floaty pieces that make her feel free. The woman likes detail; those special little touches that make her clothes feel unique; bows, sequins, drapes, frills and luxurious buttons, she likes buttons.

The woman likes to touch, she touches her hair, a handbag she loves but can’t have, a man she can have but doesn’t want and the beautiful fabric of her dress. She takes the rough with the smooth, from leather, velvet and suede to studs, beads and chain.

For Winter, The Man remains virile, rugged and masculine, with an outdoorsy wardrobe to reflect his raw and earthy nature.

French Connection features a neutral palette, sophisticated clean lines, and natural fabrics mixed with a healthy dose of Heritage tweeds, denim, and checks.

Our Man likes to take things back to basics, and is spoilt for choice in simple sartorial sweats spiced up with attention to design details ¿ from roll edge necklines on jumpers for a modern feel, or Henleys with herringbone tapes for a fresh take on Puritan. Denim is sincere and has a slim silhouette, monochrome and mushroom tones set off against contrasting shine materials for a clean modern sportswear feel.
