We mentioned that Net-a-porter was going to launch a Menswear site Mr Porter in June 2010, and today they have gone live with the site which features personal shoppers an online magazine – “The Journal” and many more features like ‘The 32 Essential Items Every Man Should Own’.
The site has a host of designer pieces with lines from Burberry and Paul Smith who features in the online video interview, all in all at first glance a very styled site with some nice pieces.

Net-a-Porter Turns On TV Channel

Net-a- Porter have launched Net-a-Porter TV where you can view videos, share, like, embed and comment on all videos and shop!
It has four channels at the moment – Runway, Who’s Who, Trends 101 and Flashbacks, there is also a competition run on Facebook for a £2,000 shopping spree.
It’s also mobile friendly so you can get it on your smartphones and the iPad and soon on Google TV-enabled Sony TVs and Blu-ray Players so you will be able to browse through videos and make purchases directly on your TV.
Alison Loehnis from Net-a-Porter : “We have taken our original concept of a shop-able magazine one step further with the addition of shop-able TV.”

Online fashion retailer Net-a-Porter are going to launch a stand-alone menswear site Mr Porter which will offer over 60 brands including Burberry and Ralph Lauren , the site will also feature style advice and is set to go live January 2011.

Net-a-Porter and Stella McCartney have launched an exclusive fashion range which comprises of a 23-piece collection includes shoes, handbags and T-shirts starting from £145.
It also includes a children’s sundress, marking the first time the designer has offered clothes for children. It is the first capsule collection designed exclusively for Net-a-Porter.
“We are thrilled to have worked with Stella to produce a one-of-a-kind online media shopping event. With this collaboration we are taking the concept of the fashion show and recreating it as a 21st century fashion entertainment vehicle for the consumer, where the shopping is part of the show.” Founder Natalie Massenet
