Gap say these ones can. Gap(Product)Red launched its first iconic t-shirt in Spring 2006 – made in Africa from a hundred per cent African cotton with half the profits going towards helping women and children with HIV and AIDS.
“This is not charity its a new way of doing business.” Visit the Gap Red site to find out about progress made since last year.
Meanwhile a new collection of tees, clothing, undies and accessories, for women, men and kids has been launched in the Gap(product)Red range, with exclusive designs by among others, Mulberry and Calvin Klein. The collection is available at selected Gap Stores and on-line. Visit the product site to see the whole range and t-shirts being modelled by Anne Hathaway and Wycleff Jean.
Early in December models Elle McPherson and Agyness Deyn were among celebrity guests who attended a party at East End restaurant Bistrotheque to celebrate the launch of the line. Follow this link to see more photos.
